Design

As if that wasn’t attention-grabbing enough, the designers of this Volkswagen placed a standard light line and an illuminated VW emblem right on the front end, making its presence unmistakable even after the sun has set. Equipped with standard power sliding doors and a power liftgate, the outer shell isn’t just about standing out for the sake of standing out either. Adding even more personality to the exterior are standard 20-inch 2-tone disc alloy wheels.

Performance

It seems that the iconic appearance of the 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz has overshadowed what a feat of modern engineering this vehicle is. Furnished with a standard 91 kWh high-voltage lithium-ion battery and a rear-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor, this adorable bus packs a punch with 282 horsepower and 413 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s not all there is to its strength, however, because an available asynchronous machine engine can be added to the front, endowing it with the capability of available 4MOTION® AWD. This upgrade increases the ID. Buzz’s power output to 335 horsepower and 512 lb.-ft. of combined torque! As you make use of this model’s standard 234-mile driving range¹ to explore California’s Central Coast, charge up the battery with a DC fast charger to continue your explorations. This method can get the power level from 10 to 80 percent in 26 minutes².

Interior

Whether you’re joined by travel companions, cargo, or both, the ID. Buzz has the space to accommodate. There’s more than 160 cubic ft. of interior passenger room, enough for six to seven people to share comfortably. The cabin exudes quite a bit of luxuriousness, courtesy of the standard leatherette door inserts and perforated V-Tex leatherette chairs.
