The 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan SE shares the same dependable performance as the other trims. That’s because it features the 2.0L TSI® turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that’s capable of reaching up to 201 horsepower and 207 lb.-ft. of torque. You’ll also have your choice of either a FWD setup or the AWD configuration. Regardless of which option you go with, the powertrain is united to an 8-speed automatic transmission to ensure seamless gear shifts on your travels around the Central Coast of California. For those with long commutes or who have summer road trips on their horizon, the vehicle boasts a high fuel economy rating of 25/32/28 MPG city/hwy/combined1.

You’ll want to take the long way home in the 2026 Tiguan SE’s comfortable cabin.
